The Colosseum — the most emblematic monument in Rome. There are plenty of good options for photographing this masterpiece, I like the view from Colle Oppio park.
Roman Forum — this area will give you the chance to photograph the ruins of ancient markets, administrative and religious buildings.
Spanish steps — one of the most majestic urban monuments of Roman Baroque style with a nice plaza and a fountain in front of it.
Navona square — I just love everything about it and it’s one of the most beautiful and famous square of Rome with 3 amazing fountains: Fontana dei Quattro Fiumi, Fontana del Nettuno and Fontana del Moro.
The Pantheon — the best preserved Ancient Roman monument with 16 massive Corinthian columns supporting the portico.
Via de Fori Imperiali — one of Rome’s most important and contentious archaeological zones. The road runs in a straight line from the Piazza Venezia to the Colosseum.
Piazza del Campidoglio — the first modern square to be designed in Rome with the legendary sculpture of the Capitoline Wolf, situated between the Palazzo Senatorio and Palazzo Nuovo
Altar of the Fatherland — the largest and my favorite monument in Rome built in honor of Vittorio Emanuele, the first king of a unified Italy.
Trevi Fountain — the largest fountain in Rome and for me the most beautiful in the world.
The Pincio — the view from here is spectacular! You can see the historic center and the Vatican from above.
