Enjoy the Dying City through my lens and contact us if you would love to explore it.

The town was founded by Etruscans more than 2,500 years ago and then largely abandoned in the 16th century due to corrosion, Civita di Bagnoregio is famously referred to as “The Dying Town” because its friable, volcanic base continues slowly crumbling into the valley.

The population today is 11 people.
